Career Mentorship

Harry G. Schaefer Mentorship Program

Thanks to our 2021 program sponsor:

Inspiring lifelong learning through transformational mentorship experiences

The Career Mentorship program at Mount Royal University is making a transition to build off the great success of the first 10 years. We will now be offering mentorship options to all students enrolled in credit programs in all years of study. This program aims to be transformative, informative, flexible and accessible to students and mentors alike.

We’re expanding the program to meet the diverse and unique needs of the Mount Royal population by offering:

  • group mentorship
  • 1:1 mentorship
  • short or long-term opportunities
  • virtual or in-person opportunities

As a student, you’ll be able to engage with Career Services and the Career Mentorship program in a way that makes sense for you in your career development journey, accessing what you need, when you need it.

As a mentor, you have the opportunity to develop or enhance your leadership skills, utilize your talents, share your expertise and experiences to contribute to students' success through meaningful connections. If you have a passion for contributing to the growth, development and confidence of MRU students, we’d love to have you join the program! Alumni and community members are welcome.

Mentorship will begin in January 2023!
